I found them! These are my blankies from childhood! Exact same texture and feel! I can finally throw away the rags I was holding onto like a crazy person because I couldn't find these anywhere. My husband thinks I'm crazy for paying this much for a small baby blanket but it's worth every penny for the comfort and safety of rubbing my face on this blanket every night. Right now this blanket is just ok, it arrived today so I may revisit the stars upon further use.
Stiff out of the packaging, as described - I have to wash it this weekend

Have a large complaint about how it is packaged however - there were 5 sets of plastic barbs (the kind that hold price tags on your clothing) - one to hold the center bow and tag (pierced through bow and blanket), one on each side of the blanket to hold the ribbon to it, and then another set at the top fold of the blanket near the hanger to keep the blanket *closed*

Why so many, I have no clue - but it is completely not necessary
